2 Arrests Made After Search Warrant Served in Oelwein

Oelwein Police have arrested two area residents on charges involving assault, drugs, and burglary.
Shortly after 4pm Monday (Sept. 19), officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of East Charles.

As a result of the investigation, 29 year old Shawna Wille of West Union was taken into custody on a warrant from Emmet County, for Contempt of Court for Failure to Pay Amounts on a district court charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

37 year old Randy Myers of Oelwein was also arrested, on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as Burglary 3rd Degree stemming for an ongoing investigation from an earlier date.
