Authorities are investigating a 1 vehicle accident at Evansdale that sent two people to the hospital.

It happened just before 6:30 this morning (Tuesday, March 7), on Interstate 380, near mile marker 68, at Evansdale.

A southbound car went off the road, down a hill, and crashed into a fence. The car finally stopped on River Road.

One person had to be extricated from the vehicle by Waterloo Fire Rescue. Both occupants were taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment. No other information was available.
