The Fayette County Sheriff was called out to a somewhat unusual accident scene Tuesday.

About 2 miles north of Waucoma on County Road V-68, officers found two vehicles in ditches, on opposite sides of the road.

An investigation determined the vehicles were northbound, when both drivers lost control at the same place, at approximately the same time.

A pickup driven by 16 year old Alicia Klimesh of Waucoma, went into the east ditch and rolled onto it's side; the 1999 Ford Ranger was considered a total loss.

And a car driven by 18 year old Samantha Sawyer, also of Waucoma, entered the west ditch, but stayed upright, and was not damaged.

No one was injured, and the accidents are still under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
