2 Killed, 2 Cops Injured In I-380 Crash

2 people are dead and 2 police officers are injured after a crash on I-380 early Saturday morning.

Police were responding to an accident that was blocking the southbound lanes of I-380 near the 1st Avenue exit. While providing traffic control, another car collided with a police vehicle on the scene.

The two people inside the vehicle that struck the police car were pronounced dead at the scene. The two officers in the police vehicle that were hit were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries.

Police are not releasing any more details until family members can be notified.
