2 Young Waterloo Drug Dealers Busted

Waterloo Police have arrested two young people in an ongoing drug and weapons investigation.

On Monday (Feb. 22nd) the Waterloo Department Tactical Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at a home at 720 West 9th Street.

During the raid, officers found quantities of marijuana that was packaged for street sale, plus an undisclosed amount of cash.

As a result, 19 year old Keyon Garner of Waterloo was charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to deliver, and using a juvenile to commit an indictable offense.

An unnamed minor was also charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to deliver.

The investigation was conducted by the WPD Violent Crimes Apprehension Team, along with the Waterloo Patrol Division.
