Meet Francesca Brown, a 31-year-old actress from London, England, who says that looking like Katy Perry has significantly damaged her career for some reason.

“I was going up for auditions, and I kept getting the comparison to Katy Perry,“ she tells ELLE.com. “For some reason -- I don’t know why -- it was costing me jobs.“ Brown says that she has tried to change her appearance, but it hasn’t helped much since the pop star also switches up her look on a regular basis.

“I went shopping, and I had children running after me,“ she adds. Fortunately, there is one gig that Brown has been able to get without a problem: work as a Perry impersonator.
