Area Man Charged with Burglarizing a Home, Several Times
Authorities have arrested a Maynard man for breaking into a home several times, stealing numerous items.
After a two-week investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff has arrested 40-year-old Aaron Rochford. He is being charged with 2 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft in the First Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree.
In early March, the sheriff received a report that someone had broken into a residence near Maynard. Over the course of the 2-week investigation, the residence continued to be burglarized and more items were stolen.
Rochford was then arrested on Monday (March 19); officers searched his residence, in the 200 block of Maynard Street in Maynard, and some of the stolen items were recovered.
Rochford was taken to the Fayette County jail and held until his initial court appearance.
The incident remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
