Update: Sykes' new Grande-sized "Over and Over Again" is available on iTunes now — listen via Spotify below.

Either Ariana Grande's on decent terms with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Sykes, or she possesses the ability to remain civil for the sake of business — because the two have collaborated on a duet version of one of Sykes' old tracks.

Grande posted a snippet of the revamped "Over and Over Again" to Instagram earlier today (January 11). Sykes released the original as a single back in October 2015, and he recently hinted that a new version with a surprise guest vocalist was on its way. The onetime member of The Wanted tweeted in succession, "So you know I said January was going to be an interesting month ...I have some news ... There's another version of #OverAndOverAgain with a very special feature."

Grande liked Sykes' tweet and posted lyrics from the song on the micro-blogging site shortly after that read, "from the heat of night / to the break of day / I'll keep you safe & hold you forever." This caused fans to speculate that she was likely the surprise artist on Sykes' track, a suspicion confirmed by Grande's aforementioned Instagram clip.

Sykes and Grande previously collaborated on the track "Almost Is Never Enough," a ballad that appears on Grande's 2013 debut album Yours Truly.

Be sure to listen to the new version of "Over and Over Again" when it drops on Friday (January 15)...while you wait for the next proper Focus single.
