Ryan Reynolds Hopes Deadpool Has a Boyfriend in ‘Deadpool 2’
In the comic books, Deadpool is known for being pansexual, in that he’s attracted to all gender identities, or attracted to people regardless of gender. In Deadpool the movie, Wade Wilson is in a monogamous relationship with a woman, Vanessa, played by Morena Baccarin. But, if star Ryan Reynolds gets his way, Deadpool 2 would explore the character’s sexuality even further, making the Merc With a Mouth the first major movie superhero to be in a relationship with another man. Yes, Reynolds wants Deadpool to have a boyfriend.
‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ Filming Has Officially Begun in London
The cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens barely got a few weeks to catch their breath after the whirlwind that surrounded that film’s massive success at the box office before they were called back to London’s Pinewood Studios to start it all over again. Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed this morning that Lucasfilm and director Rian Johnson have officially commenced principal photography on Star Wars: Episode 8.
A Yoda Cameo Was Cut From ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’
Though Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes place over 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, director J.J. Abrams still found a way to work on some classic characters who had long since passed on. Kylo Ren has a conversation with Darth Vader’s helmet. Obi-Wan speaks to Rey during her Force vision. And, there was one additional cameo that ultimately was cut from the film: Yoda.
For Some Reason Kids Are Wearing T-Shirts With the Entire ‘Bee Movie’ Script Printed on Them
Bee Movie, the 2007 DreamWorks animated comedy starring Jerry Seinfeld as am anthropomorphic bee named Barry B. Benson who may or may not be in love with a human woman, is not a good movie. Even Seinfeld himself has admitted as much. But THE KIDS THESE DAYS. There is no bad movie they will not fully embrace and turn into a thing. Such is the case with Bee Movie which, over the past few months, has taken on a new life on Tumblr. Back in November, someone posted the entire script of the film on Facebook in text form, and it was shared over 4,000 times. This peculiar obsession has been taken to a new level as now a young girl had the entire text from the Bee Movie script printed on a t-shirt and her Tumblr photo has over 100,000 notes.
‘Fast and Furious’ 9 and 10 Get Official Release Dates
Though Fast and Furious 7 seemed like an obvious, but tragic way to bring the franchise to a close, there was no way Universal Pictures was going to walk away from a franchise that was still bringing in over $350 million. So, Vin Diesel did what he does: he announced a new Fast and Furious trilogy last year that would end the franchise for good (and by “for good” we mean for a few years until they reboot it with a new cast). Fast and Furious 8 had already been scheduled for a April 14, 2017 release, but now Universal Pictures has given those last two Fast and Furious movies release dates as well.

Eat your heart out, Janine Melnitz!
Counterpoint: Scooby-Doo Is Not Dumb
My colleague, “esteemed” film critic Matt Singer, thinks Scooby-Doo is dumb. I know this because he wrote an article about it. You can read that article here, though I suggest you don’t — you’ll just be wasting your time, because Scooby-Doo is not dumb.
Zach Galifianakis Says They Never Should’ve Made the ‘Hangover’ Sequels
The original The Hangover was a bonafide comedy sensation. The highest-grossing R-rated comedy of all-time made over $275 million. To put that in perspective, The Hangover in 2009 made more than Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The LEGO Movie and Star Trek. And few would argue that the first Hangover was actually a funny movie. But then, there were the sequ
This ‘Deadpool’ Billboard Is the Best Billboard Since the Last ‘Deadpool’ Billboard
I’m on the fence about Deadpool as a movie. On the one hand, I like the irreverent tone and how it mostly seems to be sending up all the cliches we’ve become used to in modern superhero movies. On the other, I could see this potentially getting annoying and grating over the course of an entire movie. But, one thing I think we can universally agree on is that the marketing so far has been brilliant. Latest case in point? This Los Angeles billboard which uses emoji in the dumbest and most immature way. And it’s fantastic.
‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Passes ‘Avatar’ to Become Biggest Movie of All-Time
As was widely expected, Star Wars: The Force Awakens passed Avatar as the highest grossing movie of all-time on Wednesday morning. It was a record many, including George Lucas, thought would never be broken; The Force Awakens did it in just 20 da
