Authorities Identify Victim Of Workplace Accident

Authorities have released the name of person killed in a workplace accident near Hudson on Friday (June 5, 2015).

Black Hawk County sheriff's officials have identified the victim as Jeffrey Lee Graham, 51, of Waverly. According to the initial accident report, the mishap occurred while maintenance was being done on a stationary helicopter.

Sergeant Tom Nichols of the sheriff's department said work was being done on the helicopter's tail rotor at the time Graham was killed. No other information has been released.

The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. Friday, when sheriff's deputies were called to the rural Black Hawk County farm at 2838 W. Tama Road.
