We now know the name of the victim in a deadly traffic accident in Buchanan County, involving a local celebrity.

The mishap occurred on County Road W-45, north of Aurora, just before 8:30 p.m. Monday (April 24, 2017).

A pickup driven by 35-year-old Christopher Soules of Arlington, rear-ended a farm tractor driven by 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher of Aurora.

Both vehicles ended up in the ditch; Soules allegedly fled the scene and was later located by Buchanan County authorities.

Mosher was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Oelwein, where he was pronounced dead.

Soules was later located by authorities and arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

Soules was made famous for television appearances on season 19 of ABC's "The Bachelor" and season 20 of "Dancing With The Stars". He's also appeared on Food Network's "Worst Cooks In America".

The incident remains under investigation.
