A few weeks ago, we introduced you to the 28 suitors who'd be contending to win the heart of Becca Kufrin after she got burned by Arie Luyendyk Jr. during the last season of The Bachelor. Now, The Bachelorette's 14th season seems to be coming with a little bit of controversy.

Lincoln Adim—the 26-year-old, Los Angeles-based accountant—has been convicted of indecent assault and battery. According to Entertainment Tonight, he was found guilty last month of an incident that occurred in 2016 in Boston, where he reportedly groped and assaulted an adult woman on a harbor cruise ship on May 30, 2016. He was convicted on May 21, just a week before the season 14 premiere, and was sentenced to one year in a house of correction, with that term suspended for a two-year probationary period.

"The judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week during those two years," a statement from The Suffolk County District Attorney's office reads. "If he complies with the judge’s orders, he will not have to serve out his term, but if he fails to comply with those orders or re-offends, he could be ordered to serve out the year behind bars. By law, he is expected to register as a sex offender."

ET reached out to Warner Bros., who didn't have a comment. We're not sure what this will mean for Adim's participation in the show, but we'll find out as everything unfolds onscreen.
