Beck & Beyonce Mash-Up “Single Loser” Hits The Web

While people continue to debate whether Beck or Beyonce deserved to win Album of the Year, a new mash-up of Beck’s “Loser” and Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” has arrived, and it is amazeballs.

Titled “Single Loser (Put a Beck on It),” the track was uploaded to Soundcloud yesterday by a user dubbed “Beckyoncé.”

The song, which has logged almost 300,000 plays already, combines the familiar slide guitar of Beck’s anthem with Beyonce’s anthemic vocal deliver. It also pairs Beck’s “Soy un perdedor“ lament with Bey’s “Whoa-oh-oh!“ cry. And surprisingly, it kind of works.
