This is why I'm nice and friendly to people at the call centers, whether they deserve it or not, whatever country they happen to be from.

This was reported by A Spokane, Washngton resident named Lisa Brown claims that, after she called Comcast to cancel her family’s cable, her husband’s name was changed from Ricardo Brown to “A--hole” Brown on her most recent bill.

Mrs. Brown contacted her local office, and also higher-ups in the cable company's organization about fixing the matter. It's eventually been resolved. Depending on whether you talk to Brown or Comcast, they've agreed to waive the $60 cancellation fee, refunded two years worth of cable, and/or offered two additional free years of cable.
