The suspect who allegedly robbed a Northeast Iowa bank Tuesday, has been caught in Illinois.


48 year old Tyrone Wilson of Postville was arrested at about 3pm Wednesday, in Rock Island, Illinois. Wilson is accused of holding up the Security State Bank in Calmar Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, an unarmed man walked into the bank, and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Wilson's pickup was caught by security cameras, and authorities obtained search warrants for Wilson.

Sources note that Wilson had a previous conviction for robbing the Wonder Hostess Thrift store in Waterloo in 1998, and had served prison time for it.
