Officials have ruled on the cause of death of a Waterloo man, whose body was found in a rural area of Black Hawk county last month.

The State medical examiner has determined that Ronald Randall died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, shoulder and chest. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Randall's body was discovered in some woods near Waterloo in September.

No one has been charged with his murder yet, however authorities have taken two people in for questioning: Anthony Tronca and Jessica Ogden of Waterloo.

The investigation continues.
