The road to the state high school volleyball tournament continued Tuesday night with Class-1A and -2A regional quarterfinal matches played across Iowa.

In Class-1A, Don Bosco pulled out a thrilling five-set win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck at Garwin. The Dons won the final set 17-15. The rest of the Class 1A quarterfinals involving Cedar Valley Sports teams all went three sets. Nashua-Plainfield swept Dunkerton.  Janesville topped AGWSR, and Tripoli ousted CAL. Springville ended North Tama's season.

In Class-2A, Denver swept North Linn, Dike-New Hartford beat BCLUW, Wapsie Valley topped Jesup, Grundy Center beat West Marshall and Sumner-Fredericksburg defeated Postville. North Butler's season was ended by Saint Ansgar.
