Friday night's (July 15, 2016) racing action at the Farley Speedway included the Ideal Ready Mix Tri-Track Challenge featuring the Out Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Models.

The 50 lap feature started off with Joel Callahan and Ryan Dolan swapping the lead 4 times on the first two laps with the exciting slide job making for thrilling racing action. Callahan settled in to the point for the next several laps but Dolan remained with in a car length until the races first caution flew on lap 28 of he 50 lap main. Ray Guss Jr. pulled into contention on the restart and battled Callahan for the remainder of the feature with Guss leading several laps before Callahan was able to take control following a lap 38 restart. Guss ran second ahead of Dolan and Jeremiah Hurst.

The GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Modified feature came with all types of racing action including a lap 8 incident that sent the two race leaders, Matt Gansen and Mark Schulte spinning in turn two. Troy Cordes took advantage of the restart and went on to record the 20 lap win over Jerry Luloff and Schulte, who charged from the back to take third.

The GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Sportmod feature saw Tyler Soppe advance from the fifth row to earn his 17th win of the season. Soppe scored the 15 lap feature win ahead of Troy Bauer and Austin Heacock.

Phil Holtz scored the feature win in a very competitive IMCA Stock Car main event. Holtz shot pass race leader Norman Chesmore on lap 9 and went on to record the win. Scooter Dulin ran second ahead of Chesmore.

Quinton Miller padded his Hobby Stock point lead with another feature win on Friday night in the Hobby Stock class.

IMCA Weekly Racing Series action will continue on Friday, July 22nd at the Farley Speedway with warm ups set for 7 pm with racing to follow.
