The Deery Brothers Summer Series will light up Maquoketa Speedway on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.

Touring IMCA Late Models make that visit after installation of new Musco lighting as well as a new sound system are complete.

The evening’s main event pays $2,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. No change was made in the daily schedule from the original race date of May 18, as both pit gates and the grandstand will open at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow.

The series’ halfway point fund of $9,325 will now be paid following the July 7 event at Kossuth County Speedway in Algona.

Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and street stocks will also be on the program at Maquoketa. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance state points will be awarded.
