The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a weekend accident, in which a driver had to use evasive tactics to avoid colliding with another vehicle.

It happened shortly after 3pm Saturday near the intersection of Apple and Alberta Roads, just east of Clermont.

60 year old Gary Blockhus of Clermont was driving west on Apple, when he had to swerve to miss an oncoming vehicle that was apparently being driven too close to the center of the road.

Blockhus' vehicle left the road and rolled onto it's side. Blockhus was treated at the scene for minor injuries. His SUV had about $8,000 in damage.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by Clermont Fire and Clermont Ambulance Service.
