The Hinterland Music Festival has become a summertime tradition in St. Charles, Iowa. Thousands of fans have flocked to Madison County since 2015 for a weekend full of country, rock, alternative, and Americana music.

Normally a two-day event, this year's festival has been extended to three days (August 2nd-4th), which means Hinterland organizers had to come up with performers to fill out this summer's lineup. They did not disappoint.

2019 Grammy winners Kacey Musgraves & Brandi Carlile are among this year's headliners.

Musgraves won four GRAMMYs earlier this month for her album Golden Hour, including Best Country Album & Album of the Year. Carlile was the most-nominated woman at this year's GRAMMYs with six, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.

Hozier, also scheduled to perform this summer, was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2015 GRAMMYs for his smash hit "Take Me To Church."

Hinterland will also have distinct Iowa feel to it--festival performers Adam Bruce, The Maytags, and Keuning all originated in Iowa, and Elizabeth Moen was raised in Vinton. Click HERE for the complete lineup.

Hinterland will be held Friday-Sunday, August 2nd-4th, at Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in St. Charles. Three-day festival passes and camping packages are available now. Single-day and two-day tickets will go on sale at a later date.
