Grundy County Man Arrested On Arson Charge

A man is accused of setting fire to home in rural Grundy County last month.

Grundy County sheriff's officials have charged Darwin Harms, 54, of Wellsburg, with second-degree arson in connection with the April 30, 2015, blaze. He was taken to the Grundy County jail.

Authorities said Harms was taken into custody on Tuesday following an investigation into the house fire at 13742 D Avenue, which is northwest of Wellsburg.

Grundy County sheriff's officials didn't release any other details on the blaze. Wellsburg Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshall's Office assisted in the investigation.
