Ray Smith didn't just want to propose to his girlfriend Claire. He wanted to make it romantic and memorable, even though the more elaborate you make a proposal and record it on video, you run the risk of people thinking it's more about you than it is about her.

Ray had thought about asking Claire, and then Ray found out Claire was pregnant, so he decided to make an honest woman out of her......slowly.

His "proposals" were all him filming himself with a small card asking Claire to marry him while she wasn't looking. 148 days of this.

Claire eventually caught wise -- after wondering "why hasn't he proposed to me yet?" for months I'm sure -- and accepted.
