Halsey Seemingly Blasts G-Eazy for Cheating During ‘SNL’ Performance

Halsey threw serious shade at ex-boyfriend G-Eazy on Saturday Night Live.

While performing her hit song "Without Me," she stood before a background that read, "Sorry Ashley I cheated." It then listed several cities in which the alleged cheating took place, including "at home in Los Angeles." Fans were fairly certain the background was meant to expose G-Eazy, whom she split from in October.

Neither Halsey, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, nor G-Eazy ever revealed the reason for their split. It was rumored long before Halsey took the stage, however, that cheating played a role. Last month, during an interview with Glamour, the singer was asked why she hadn't spoken about the split.

"The biggest lesson I learned was to make art, not headlines," she said. "Because it can become quite easy, in the social media generation, to go from being a musician to becoming a personality."

She has yet to respond to the response to her performance on SNL. G-Eazy has been equally silent on the matter. It's unclear if the former couple plan to address the drama.
