High School Class Makes Their Own “Uptown Funk” Video

Scot Pankey has suddenly become the coolest high school teacher in Texas.  He and his students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School made a fun video for their first project of the new year.

The video shows the teacher dancing around the school with his students to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.”  Even more impressive, they do it in a single take!

Pankey said he heard the song over Christmas and loved it.  He told his students — from six different theater classes — that he’d do it with them … if they’d let him.

“I told them, ‘I am not a dancer, but I’d love to do this and go on this journey with you, and we can all learn from it and have a good time,’” Pankey told The Dallas Morning News. “And they were all on board.”
