How To Clean Your Facebook From Those Annoying Memes

You try to monitor your friends and stalk your crushes and exes in peace, and then something goes viral and ruins your entire social media experience.

You know what I'm talking about. If it's not endless videos, it's the motivational shares. If it's not motivational shares, it's "You are loved. Share this with everyone you want to eventually hate you for sharing stupid crap with all the time." You probably get a lot of stupid stuff from your Facebook friends, and you likely have too many of them anyway.

(I had a Facebook friend who was sending me these things in Messenger. It was something you'd expect to see from a 14-year old girl yet this was a grown man. I politely told him not to send me these things anymore, that I would talk to him if he wanted to talk but these things were unnecessary and like chain letters and they were annoying. He unfriended me, only after telling me that I am an ass. He has since sent me another friend request.)

There's the different interactive content that people want to share with you, and this is the latest and it's everywhere now. Maybe you've seen these.

And you click the link, do your name, and it gives you something cutesy. And on and on and on.

You're probably thinking there's a way to filter these out......well, there is!

In the upper-right corner of these kind of posts (any post actually) there's what looks like a lower-case V or a down arrow. Click on that and it offers you an opportunity to "Hide". You can hide ads or certain kinds of content, or even certain sources of that content.
