Not quite the doctor-patient relationship I'd like to have. This is 'Crappy News' for Tuesday, February 6th.

Yorkshire, England- A man wants to outlaw the sale of energy drinks after almost dying from them.

56-year-old Nick Mitchell was in charge of a karaoke night at a nightclub eight years ago, and began slamming energy drinks to stay alert.

After drinking 25 of them within SIX HOURS, Mitchell was rushed to the hospital after complaining of intense pain in his head.

Doctors confirmed he had a bleed on the brain caused by a caffeine overdose. Over the next week Mitchell suffered three mini-strokes...and still has minor speech problems because of it. A spokesman for Red Bull states that a single 250ml can contains 80mg of caffeine, which means Mitchell would've surpassed the recommended amount of caffeine within ONE HOUR.

Mitchell is worried about kids becoming addicted to them and wants all energy drinks should be banned. [Metro]

I mean, the guy probably has a point, but maybe some personal responsibility is a good idea, too...

Officers pulled over a car for multiple traffic violations on January 26th. Cops noticed 46-year-old Howard Montgomery & 32-year-old Danielle Ruise acting suspiciously. A police dog conducted a "free-air sniff" and detected the smell of drugs.

Officers searched the suspects' vehicle and found approximately 121 pounds of marijuana in the trunk. Montgomery & Ruise face charges of felony drug trafficking. [Northwest Indiana Times]

I'm sure that dog was pretty hungry afterwards. YOU KNOW WHY.

Prosecutors say 39-year-old Shawn Kerby--who has clinics in Des Moines & West Des Moines--would prescribe the painkiller Hydrocodone to patients who didn't need the drug. Kerby would then have the patients return the pills to him once they were filled at a local pharmacy.

A search of Dr. Kerby's home and dental practices also turned up multiple handguns and shotguns. He's been sentenced to 20 months in prison for drug and gun charges. [KCCI-TV]

Definitely wouldn't want this guy messing with my teeth...or any other body part.
