How many times have you told someone - not from the Midwest - that you live in Iowa, and they say, "The Potato State"? Ugh, it's the Hawkeye State, Captain Duncemore. We have a suggestion to help learn the difference.

I was chatting with a coworker at one of our sister stations in Idaho the other day, and he told me the funniest Iowa versus Idaho story.

While driving cross-country, he stopped at a gas station. The side of their building was covered with all 50 states, and each state was labeled.  The cutouts for Iowa and Idaho were ... wait for it ... BOTH OF IDAHO.
