Iowa’s Lisa Bluder Becomes the All-Time Winningest Coach in Program History

On Monday, 10, 2014, the Iowa Hawkeyes (19-6, 7-4) women's basketball team beat the Northwestern Wildcats (14-10, 4-7), 90-86. With that victory, UI head coach Lisa Bluder has 270 career wins, surpassing C. Vivian Stringer as the all-time winningest coach in program history.

Entering Monday’s game, Bluder was tied with Stringer and former men’s coach Tom Davis for the most victories (269) as a head basketball coach at the University of Iowa.

Bluder, one of 13 active Division I coaches with 600 or more wins, is 270-163 all-time as the Hawkeye head coach. She has 626 career victories.
