Nearly everyone has heard the preaching, "Keep your eyes on the road, stop texting and driving", we may have even spoken it at times, but do we follow it?  Do we truly and honestly understand just how fast "it" can all go wrong?

This video was a reality check for me.  I shared it with the drivers in my house.  My son looked at me and said, "see mom, it can happen to you.  Please stop texting and driving."  Today, I'm done.  Done grabbing the phone to see who sent a message, who made a comment on facebook, or who sent an email.  Done sending a message, done sending a reply.  True, it will just be a quick reply, true it will just be a quick message.

I have always been told, Children Learn What They Live.  Well that's what I want.  I want my children to live.  I want to live.  I want the people in the cars that I meet on the highways to live.  I want you to live.

I took the Toyota TeenDrive 365 pledge too.  Pledging to pull over if I need to use my cell phone along with many other pledges.  Tonight, I will show it to my 14 year old son and if he agree's to sign it, we will then frame it and hang the pledge in our house.  It will be there for all to see.  If you want to join me, here's the link http://www.toyota.com/teendrive365

Have a safe day and please, Keep Your Eyes On The Road.
