It's time to Git-R-Done! One of the most popular redneck comedians is bringing his unique brand of comedy to Eastern Iowa this summer!

Larry the Cable Guy is comin'!

Larry the Cable Guy is arguably one of the best-known comedians in the country. He's essentially a household name. He's become synonymous with Blue Collar Comedy and fellow redneck branded comedians, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Jeff Foxworthy.

This summer you'll have a chance to experience the comedy of Larry the Cable Guy in Cedar Rapids when he hits the McGrath Amphitheatre on Friday, July 26!

While Larry the Cable Guy, whose real name is Daniel Whitney, is set for an appearance in Cedar Rapids, you have likely already seen his comedy at some point. Boasting multiplatinum comedy album recording sales, a Netflix special with Jeff Foxworthy, Grammy nominations, and a voice part in the Disney "Cars" franchise, Larry the Cable Guy isn't exactly a comedic rookie.

Larry isn't just a popular comedian, he's also well-known for philanthropy. His Git-R-Done Foundation has donated millions to children's and veteran causes.

An Iowa rivalry?

While Larry the Cable Guy is a redneck comedian, the real-life Daniel Whitney is actually from Pawnee City, Nebraska. Nebraskans and Iowans... don't always see eye-to-eye when it comes to college sports. Can we expect any Hawkeye jabs from Larry? It's certainly possible! Larry is almost always photographed wearing his "N" necklace. The N in this case is the symbol of the University of Nebraska.

Larry the Cable is so popular in his hometown of Pawnee City, Nebraska, that the city named a street after him (using his real name). He also donated money to buy new theatrical equipment for the town high school.
