Police attempted to pull over 33-year-old Kenneth Shutes, Jr. last week, but Shutes kept driving, speeding through several stop signs before exiting the car and running. While fleeing, Shutes tripped trying to leap over a barbed wire fence in a dense wooded area.

Lost, freezing, and having difficulty walking, Shutes called 911...on himself. Police & paramedics tracked him down and took him to the hospital, where he was later arrested.

Authorities say Shutes was cooperative and apologetic after being found. He's been charged with failure to obey an officer, marijuana possession and obstructing an officer. [Pioneer Press]
