Local Man Charged with Shooting Neighbor’s Dog
A Waterloo man, accused of shooting a neighbor's dog, is now being charged in the incident.
Charles Brewer Jr., faces charges including animal abuse, carrying weapons, and intimidation with a weapon.
The incident happened in October of 2015; Brewer was arguing with a neighbor outside his house on West Mullan Avenue, when he shot their dog several times, killing it.
The investigation determined that the dog was attempting to defend it's owner.
