Local Woman Arrested for Theft Incident

A local woman has been arrested on a theft charge.

Just before 6am Thursday (Sept. 7), Oelwein police arrested 27-year-old Sarah Jayne Moore of Oelwein following an incident in the 100 block of 8th Avenue NW. Moore was charged with Theft-5th Degree.

Oelwein Police are investigating some vandalism. A criminal mischief complaint was called in to police at about noon Wednesday, from the 100 block of East Charles.

And Oelwein Police are looking into a theft complaint. The incident was reported shortly after 5pm Tuesday, from the 1300 block of South Frederick Avenue.
