I bet he wishes he could REVERSE time and SKIP making this decision. Here's "Crappy News" for Thursday, July 5th.

Pompano Beach, FL- A fisherman reeled in an unexpected catch.

Jorge Bustamante went out fishing for his birthday on Monday. He was looking for mahi and kingfish, but also wound up snaring a two-pound brick of marijuana. Yep, he found weed floating in the weedline.

Bustamante (wisely) called the U.S. Coast Guard...and he was allowed to post photos of his catch on Instagram before turning it over. Authorities are unsure where the drugs came from or how long the bundle had been in the ocean. [Sun-Sentinel]

This guy definitely did the right thing...although there are more than a few people who wouldn't have. #FindersKeepers

Morton Grove, IL- I didn't think I'd see a scam dumber than the "Nigerian Prince" thing...but here we are.

Last last month a Morton Grove resident received a text from a person claiming to be Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Bruce Springsteen. He needed some cash to recover an "investment in gold he made in Dubai." Yes, "The Boss" texted a complete stranger for his own personal gain.

The victim forwarded the scammer $1,100 to cover the Dubai investment, as well as a $500 iTunes gift card that was supposed to help senior citizens pay off their phone bills. They eventually figured out it was a scam and called police, but not until AFTER they'd transferred the money. Just for the record...Bruce Springsteen's net worth is about $460 MILLION. Oh, and if anyone asks you to pay for something with an iTunes gift card...it's definitely a scam.

Rodriguez denied inappropriately touching the younger girl, but she told police that he had "touched her on her breast and buttocks over her bathing suit" while they were swimming in the pool at an apartment complex.

Rodriguez also admitted to exchanging sexually suggestive pictures with the 14-year-old. [The Smoking Gun]
