New Hartford Man Killed In Butler County Accident

A New Hartford man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Butler County Sunday night (Sept. 3, 2017).

The Iowa State Patrol said Billy Joe Miller, 51, died when he lost control of the pick-up he was driving on County Road T-47 (Sinclair Ave.) east of Parkersburg. According to an accident report, Miller was ejected from the vehicle after it left the pavement and entered a ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. about six miles north of Iowa Highway 57.
