A Nick Moore (Iowa) pin got the night started. That set the tone for No. 1 Iowa on Friday, January 31, 2015 as they put down No. 2 Minnesota, 23-12. It was a dominating road win in front of the Williams Arena crowd.

The Hawkeyes led the 100th meeting between the two teams right from the first match. They won six-of-10 matches during the dual and scored 23 takedowns to Minnesota's 10. Add in a pin and a technical fall and you get the 71st Iowa win over Minnesota (71-28-1).

The dual victory gives Iowa (11-0, 6-0) sole possession of first place in the Big Ten. Minnesota (10-1, 6-1) trails Iowa by one in the loss column.

Next Up: Iowa returns to the mat Friday, Feb. 6, at Maryland. The Hawkeyes and Terps meet at Comcast Pavilion at 6 p.m. (CT).
