Post Malone stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (Oct. 1) and spoke with the comedian and television host about everything from his upcoming Posty Fest to his new music, which include adding a new song to the soundtrack of the forthcoming Spider-Man film. Posty gave viewers a 10-second preview of the song, "Sunflower," which was well received by the crowd.

Before the quick clip played over the loud speakers, Post said that he hadn't even listened to the version of the song himself yet. "Now, we don't know when this is coming out yet," Fallon said. "I haven't even heard it!" Posty responded.

Fortunately, the song sounds like it has potential to be a banger. "You're a sunflower/I think you're in love with me too much," Post appears to sing over an upbeat instrumental.

The multi-platinum artist and Fallon continued to chop it up throughout the interview, discussing the seemingly overnight viral fame of Post's debut song "White Iverson." Post described how he uploaded the song to SoundCloud, and when he woke up, huge artists were already flooding his social media. "I woke up and Wiz Khalifa tweeted me, rest in peace, Mac Miller, tweeted me—it had like 30,000 plays and it just kept growing."

They also discussed Post's newest achievement—his album Stoney recently surpassed Michael Jackson's Thriller for the album with the most weeks on the Billboard 200 chart at 76 weeks.

"It's super surreal. I don't even know what the hell to think or to do. I'm just doing my best, I'm just doing the best I can," Post said.

Although an exact release date for his new song hasn't been set yet, the song will likely come out around the time of the new animated Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: In to the Spider-Verse. Take a listen to the clip and view Post's interview with Jimmy Fallon in full below.
