Royal Baby’s Name Revealed

Two days after welcoming their first daughter, Prince William and Kate Middleton have now revealed her name.

The baby’s full title will be Her Royal Highness Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge.

The Daily Mail notes that “Charlotte“ is a nod to the baby’s grandfather Prince Charles, while Elizabeth is in honor of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth and Diana, of course, is in honor of Prince William’s late mother. Charlotte is also Pippa Middleton’s middle name.
