Five people have been arrested over the weekend in Allamakee County, on methamphetamine and other charges.


On Friday (Dec. 8) the Waukon Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence at 204 Fourth Avenue NW in Waukon.

Four people were taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and other charges. They were identified as 53-year-old William Evans of Waukon, 30-year-old Nathan Klein of Mechanicsville, 49-year-old Eric Siebring of New Albin, and 42-year-old Steven Mitchell of New Albin.

Another search was conducted at a home on Arrowhead Lane in New Albin. As a result, 48-year-old Kimberly Siebring of New Albin was arrested for possession of meth and paraphernalia. Eric Siebring was also charged with other drug related violations.

The Waukon Police Department was assisted by the Lansing/New Albin Police Department, Allamakee County Sheriff and K-9, Decorah Police, Postville Police, and Houston County Sheriff and K-9 unit.
