A 14-year-old and 15-year-old girl were arrested after making threats to the school in the style of those featured on the show Pretty Little Liars.

Police say the 15-year-old created a Snapchat account with the display name “A” and posted messages about exposing classmates’ secrets, which then led to rumors about a possible school shooting.

The 14-year-old followed that up by writing a violent threat on a bathroom mirror, which caused the school to evacuate on Friday.

Gerald Krokus was dressed as Santa to deliver toys to the Tampa Bay Beach Bums Operation Santa Charity Volleyball Tournament. But instead of sliding down the chimney, he jumped out of an airplane. The skydiving Santa didn’t stick the landing, and broke his leg after striking a palm tree.

Krokus’ passenger on the flight was an “Elf on a Shelf” named Kristoff, which he had intended on bringing to a nine-year-old girl during the tournament. Both Santa and the elf are expected to make a full recovery. [USA Today / Bay News 9]
