After dropping a gospel album earlier this year, Snoop Dogg is now setting his sights on the cooking world. The Long Beach legend is gearing up for his first cookbook, From Crook to Cook, which is set to release in October.

Published by Chronicle Books, the cookbook will feature 50 of Snoops' all-time favorite recipes from his personal collection. “You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes, ya dig?” the rhymer said.

From Crook to Cook will be organized by meals and occasions and will include classic recipes such as baked mac and cheese, chicken and waffles and baby back ribs. The book will also get a bit fancy and feature the steps to make meals such as lobster thermidor and filet mignon.

Snoop will also have your taco Tuesday nights covered with a recipe for soft flour tacos and has made sure to include a gin and juice recipe, as well as snacks to satisfy the late-night munchies.

A cookbook isn't the only project the Doggfather has in the works. Earlier this month, Snoop announced he will be starring in the live play, Redemption of a Dogg, alongside singer Tamar Braxton.

The rapper broke the news on Twitter, writing, "I partnered up wit my guy @jecaryous to bring you REDEMPTION OF A DOGG, the live play," Snoop tweeted. "We goin on tour joined by the wonderful @tamarbraxton. We hittin a city near you this fall ! Tickets on sale tomorrow dont miss out !"
