Super Bowl thoughts

So now that we know the match up for the Super Bowl, Seattle vs. Denver, it occurred to me that for the first time in many year that I am not rooting for one team or the other.

Being a life-long Detroit Lions fan, I accepted a long time ago that I would never actually be cheering for MY team in a Super Bowl. Normally I'll pick the team in the big game that I respect the most, and root for them. However this year, I just can't get myself excited about either team.

I could care less about Seattle, and although I am a Peyton Manning fan, the amount of band-wagon Broncos fans this year have soured me toward their team. So I guess this year I will be looking forward to the commercials more so than the actual game. And maybe next year I will be watching my Lions in the big game....doubtful!
