Suspicious Vehicle Report Ends with 2 Arrests
A Northeast Iowa couple has been arrested after authorities got a report of a suspicious vehicle in the city of West Union.
Just before noon Saturday (Aug. 19), the Fayette County Sheriff received a call concerning a suspicious vehicle located in the 100 block of North Oak Street in West Union. Officers located the vehicle, and arrested the passenger, 51-year-old William Harris of West Union on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Trespassing.
The driver, 48-year-old Melissa Harris, also of West Union, was taken into custody for Trespassing, and Driving with No Insurance.
West Union Police assisted the Fayette County Sheriff in the investigation.
