If you're in a happy, fulfilling relationship...good for you! If not, you could be getting dumped this weekend. Don't say I didn't warn ya.

This may be the season to be jolly, but it's apparently also the season for your significant other to rip your still-beating heart out of your chest and make you look at it.

Statisticians from Information Is Beautiful monitored "breakup" posts and statuses on Facebook (yes, people are getting paid to study this stuff) and determined that December 11th--this Sunday--is the day couples are most likely to split up.

As for the reasons, there are different theories. This time of year can be pretty stressful, which means your relationship could simply be a casualty of all the holiday-related drama. Some partners would just rather not introduce their S.O. to family members, whereas others don't see the relationship as worth doling out money on a bunch of Christmas gifts.

Whatever the reasons, two weeks before Christmas seems to be the deadline. So if you haven't gotten him or her a present yet, you may want to wait 'til Monday.
