This May Be The Best Year-End List Ever
It seems like every organization puts out some kind of TOP fill-in-the-blank of the year list right about now. Some are good, some are lame, but very few truly stand out. This might be the best one I've seen yet.
A new study found the "Why do?" question that people Google the most in every state.
What's each state's most burning question? Some of the responses are PRICELESS. Check out the virtual map below:
Here are some of the highlights:
- Residents of Colorado & Indiana were most concerned about the pain in their breasts. While on the subject of boobs, "Why do men have nipples?" was the top search for both Idaho AND Ohio.
- Folks in New Mexico took a more philosophical approach, searching for "Why do we dream?"
- Californians are fascinated by flies' attraction to poop. And speaking of going #2, Michigan's top search was "Why do I have diarrhea?"
But what's the question that made us in Iowa the most curious?
"Why do cats knead?"
For real, I didn't even know what "cats kneading" meant 'til I Googled it about 10 seconds ago. Apparently it's got something to do with the motion of their front paws (there...I just saved *you* a Google search). And, it turns out that Oregon, Kentucky & Kansas are also stumped by this feline behavior. Click HERE for the whole list.
