Schult, a graduate of Tripoli High School, was not selected in this year's draft, but chose to sign with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent.

Schult led all of Division I football with 17 sacks this past season, and finished his UNI career as the Panthers' all-time leader in tackles for loss (56). Schult also garnered the 2017 Buck Buchanan Award, which is given to the best defensive player in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FBS).

According to UNIpanthers.com, he is the 74th Northern Iowa player to appear in a National Football League camp, and the 31st to do so since Mark Farley began coaching the Panthers in 2001. Congratulations to Karter!
