Try The New HyVee Market Cafe This Week With Q92.3!

It's the "same helpful smiles, brand new aisles" at the new Crossroads HyVee as it is Culinary Expertise Week this week, and you have got to try the brand-new HyVee Market Cafe, a full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The brand-new Hyvee Market Cafe is located at 1422 Flammang Drive in Waterloo, and they're open at 6am every day with fresh made-to-order meals brought to you by a friendly wait staff, and that includes to-go curbside service, where you can call or order your food online at www.hy-veemarketcafe.com and have it brought out to your car!

As part of their six-week celebration, Q92.3 is taking over for Week 3.

Every day this week there is a special at the brand-new HyVee Market Cafe. Friday features a seafood special! Saturday is $3 off top sirloin or Ribeye steaks, and on Sunday it's a Two for $20 Special; choose any appetizer and any two burgers, sandwiches, salads, or flatbread for $20.

Don't forget about their Sunday Brunch too, which includes an exceptional buffet with a carving station, a Create-Your-Own Eggs Benedict and Omelet Station, and drink specials 9am to 2pm: All you can drink Bloody Marys or Mimosas for $9.00.

There's also a seasonal burger, the Hy-Waiian Burger, a soy glazed burger topped with candied bacon, juicy pineapple, and mango salsa, served on a grilled bakery fresh Hy-Waiian sweet roll.

Inside the HyVee store, it's Culinary Expertise Week, as Chefs William and Todd along with Mike (the International Cheese Specialist) will answer all your questions and even have quality meals prepared for taking home.

The weekend's in-store events: Friday: Chef William vs. Chef Todd in the Burger Battle Showdown! Watch these two chefs go head to head in a live culinary battle from 1-3pm. Judges will select their favorite and customers can sample while supplies last. Tim Smith from the hit TV Show Moonshiners will be here from 4-6pm for a Meet & Greet and bottle signing. And on Sunday Chef Ron Dillavou from the 4000 University Avenue Hy-Vee will be at Crossroads performing a live ice carving from 2-3pm.
