UNI Named One Of Nation’s Top Public Colleges

The University of Northern Iowa is getting some high praise from the U.S. News & World Report.

U.S. News & World Report recently placed UNI as the #2 'Best Public University (Midwest Region)'. UNI was also ranked 25th overall on a combined list of private and public universities in the region, 17th for "Best Colleges for Veterans (Midwest)" and 45th for "Best Value Schools (Midwest)".

U.S. News & World Report based its ranking on 15 different criteria including peer assessment, academic reputation, retention, faculty resources and more.
