The UNI Panthers past their first road test of the season, rolling to a 97-51 victory at North Dakota Saturday afternoon (Nov. 28, 2015).

UNI (4-1 overall) was led in scoring by Paul Jesperson's career-high 18 points. Former Waverly-Shell Rock High School star Klint Carlson added a career-high 15 points. Bennett Koch also collected a career-high 12 points to go along with eight rebounds.

Overall, five players found their way into double-figure scoring for the Panthers.

UNI's 46-point win over North Dakota (2-4 overall) tied for the seventh-largest margin of victory in school history. Head Coach Ben Jacobson improved to 7-0 all-time against his alma mater.

The Panthers led 54-20 at the break after shooting 70 percent from the field in the first 20 minutes. They shot 61.1 percent for the game, which included 12-of-19 (63.2 percent) from 3-point land.

UNI has made at least one three-pointer in 500-straight games, the longest active streak for any team in the Missouri Valley Conference.

UP NEXT: UNI will be back in action on Monday at 7 p.m., hosting North Texas at the McLeod Center Center in Cedar Falls.
